Job Description


The Marketing Assistant helps us in our overall marketing efforts. They are an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. In addition, the Marketing Assistant consistently demonstrates a positive and hardworking attitude, a continuous commitment to personal and process improvement and the ability to build strong partnerships, one employee and one customer/carrier at a time, and by working in accordance with ELs COACHTeam core values.


• Develops ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
• Creates effective copy and design for internal and external marketing materials.
• Completes market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends.
• Plans and executes initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels.
• Effectively undertakes individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.

• Support and collaborate with marketing managers and executive leadership in organizing and executing various projects.
• Design various collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud incorporating established brand guidelines.
• Conduct market research to find answers about customer requirements, habits and trends.
• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns to enhance and grow the company’s brand.
• Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature, such as content for web, social media, brochures, emails and presentations, by writing copy and formatting content and graphics.
• Prepare, format and edit a range of documents.
• Provide marketing support for internal events.
• Manage updates to company website.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
• Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.).
• Manage marketing collateral inventory and supplies.
• Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.

• BS/BA in marketing, communications or related field with at least two years of marketing experience in a business environment. Experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
• Proven experience as a marketing assistant or similar role.
• Demonstrable experience designing various collateral materials in a professional capacity utilizing established brand guidelines.
• Thorough understanding of marketing elements and market research methods.
• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud) and applications.
• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills.
• Reports primarily to Brand Manager with additional reporting responsibilities to Communications Manager.
