RMI is growing and seeking a personable, dependable and mature individual to process multiple payrolls. Primary duties include: entering and maintaining client and employee files in Summit Apex/RMI Time; processing multiple-state payrolls; assisting client owners and employees with payroll related questions; activating, calculating, and withholding garnishments; tracking paid leave accruals; calculating pay changes and retro payments; and answering verification of employment calls and responding to written verification of employment requests. This position is full-time and although the schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., this position may require you to stay late or come in early to get assigned tasks completed on time, while staying within 40 hours per week. This is a non-smoking company located in downtown Salt Lake City. Candidates must be experienced in accounting and/or processing payroll or related education. Must be detail-oriented, professional, dependable and have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. Must have excellent spreadsheet, word processing and 10-key skills.
