We’re on the hunt for an experienced IT Support Specialist who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed. You will serve as the IT Support Specialist.

What You’ll Be Doing

At Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to what our volunteers are responsible for – their mission. The 80’s, as we call them at Solera, are the employee’s priorities associated with their role or mission. The mission 80’s for this role, are:

Support the technological systems that office and remote internal employees use in our enterprise environment. This is done through knowledge and experience and skillsets that include teamwork, customer service, organizational, project management, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication.
Company internal controls processes need to be followed. These processes apply to system access and security. We are also responsible to track technological assets and reduce expenses through maintaining our current technology and making wise purchasing decisions.
Stay current on new technology and concepts in a way that can help the company and associates be more productive and reduce waste. Regular training and IT certification programs are expected.

Additional responsibilities of the role include:

Ticket Management
Inventory Management
Account Management (Active Directory/Exchange/O365, etc)
Project Leadership
Willingness to learn new technologies
Build, and maintain various desktop and laptop computer systems (Windows, MAC OSX)
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Support other various technologies (Audio/Video and conferencing solutions, cell phones, tablets, printers, voip phones, etc)
Available to work afterhours if needed
Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Job Requirements
Microsoft Windows and Mac Operating systems experience (W7, 8, 8.1, 10, MAC OSX)
Show computer hardware knowledge
Show basic TCP/IP networking skills
Have system access account management experience
Have excellent people and troubleshooting skills
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and two years of workstation administration
Experience documenting IT environments
CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience
Preferred but not required: CompTIA Net+, Security+, MTA:IT Infrastructure, MCSA(Windows 10)
