Job Description
Boeing Salt Lake (BSL) is seeking a Experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join the BSL Equipment Service team.

This position will support equipment maintenance efforts at three facilities located 25 miles apart. Travel between the three facilities will be required to support customer needs, and common site process and procedures. Occasionally will be required to work after normal hours, overtime, and weekend to support job requirements. This position will work on a 2nd shift (3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) schedule that could include Saturday and/or Sunday. Works under general supervision with understanding of the job.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs maintenance on factory equipment.
Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programmable logic controls (PLC).
Assists with interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.
Responds to requests for equipment repair.
Identifies and requests component and replacement part inventories.

Job Requirements
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Required Qualifications

Must have a minimum of (5) years of experience with performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance.
Experience with the set up, maintenance, trouble shooting and repair of machine tools.
Systems experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, control systems, vision systems, and industrial computers.
Requires working a 2nd shift work schedule that could include a weekend day and occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with trouble shooting PLC's.

Experience with composite tape laying machines.
Experience with robotics and automation.
Experience maintaining and performing reliability studies on large integrated system process system such as multi-axis machine tools, systems, presses related manufacturing equipment.
