Job Description

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking talented recent graduates to join our internal consultancy, the Enterprise Initiative Office. The Office was authorized by the Executive Leadership Team in 2017 and designed to drive critical system initiatives supporting our healthcare transformation.

The Enterprise Initiative Consultant Level I is an integral member of the Enterprise Initiative Office team and will be tasked with helping develop insightful, data-driven recommendations to Intermountain senior leaders to address complex business / operational issues and drive critical system initiatives supporting our healthcare transformation. As a Consultant, you’ll receive regular feedback and mentoring from colleagues on your team, along with guidance and support to ensure you are continuously growing your skillset and building your network.

Essential Job Duties

Support highly engaged and high-functioning teams that consistently deliver and/or exceed internal customer needs
Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations
Communicate with stakeholders and EIO team members with precision and clarity
Ensure completion and quality of project deliverables
Perform specifically defined tasks to support system initiatives

Minimum Requirements

Entry level consultant with advanced graduate degree and prior work experience. Master Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure, dynamic, demanding, and ambiguous work environment.
Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with significant upside potential.
Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Able to effectively articulate complex ideas both verbally and in writing.
Able to work independently and manage small engagements or parts of large engagements.
Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to work in an environment requiring intense professional development, including frequent performance evaluations and rigorous skills development expectations.
Physical Requirements

Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.
Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
See and read computer monitors and documents.
Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
