Business Development Associate

Eccovia Solutions is seeking a self-motivated, highly qualified experienced Business Development Associate for new business lead generation. The Business Development Associate will develop qualified opportunities to our external sales and business development team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in lead generation and new business development with the ability to successfully cold call into accounts and assist in the follow-up sales cycle to ensure prospects are of the highest quality and qualification. The candidate must be a dynamic, critical thinker with tenacity, energy and drive to succeed. This position represents a path for growth in the Eccovia Solutions' Business Development organization.
Core Responsibilities & Functions
Generate leads through cold calling and prospecting a targeted database and market segment; effectively transition them into strong sales opportunities for the external sales team.
Understand and effectively communicate the Eccovia Solutions value proposition and targeted messaging.
Build strong, professional relationships with sales executives and marketing team and consistently communicate with them regarding strategic objectives.
Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to accurately notate daily activity.
Specialized Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
Strong knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM
Strong relationship building skills and ability to follow-up consistently
Able to communicate with and work effectively with people to analyze business needs
Education & Experience
3+ years of experience cold calling
Preferred experience in the enterprise software space with focus on business applications
Preference of 1+ year selling in public sector and/or health and human services software sector
