Provide constant communication, ensuring the customer is aware of all pertinent activities as it concerns their account.
Work closely with the assigned outside salesperson on a daily basis providing clear and concise updates on current proposals, orders and general customer issues.
Manage all proposals from .99 cents to $9,999.99
Generate proposals over $10,000.00 to be directed to the responsible outside salesperson for presentation to the customer.
Generate accurate proposals with a minimum turnaround time
Support CRM entry and management of opportunities
Follow up on all proposals once submitted to assure they have been received and the status is understood. React to any issues regarding price, lead-time or terms and respond accordingly.
Review purchase orders for accuracy then input into Oracle system
Manage all open orders. Provide updated lead times
Manage past due receivables i.e. providing required documentation to insure timely payment of invoices and making collection calls on past due invoices.
Be current with and pursue resolution of any account issues on a day-to-day basis.
Explore any and all business growth opportunities through upselling part, services and Rebuilds
High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years’ customer service/inside sales experience
Strong inter-personal and customer relations skills
Experience in sales, marketing, and pricing techniques and strategies preferred
Ability to read and interpret flow sheets, contracts, specifications and drawings
Effective communication, both verbal and written
Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, establish priorities and demonstrate effective time management
Customer focused, quality driven and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment, working well under pressure to meet deadlines
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred proficiency in Microsoft software applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
